Yes, you need a WhatsApp Business account (not the regular WhatsApp Business app — the API version). If you don't have one, we'll guide you through the application process with Meta.
What is DLT registration and why is it required for SMS?
DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) is a TRAI-mandated registration portal for businesses sending commercial SMS in India. You must register your entity, sender ID, and message templates before sending any promotional or transactional SMS. We guide you through this process step by step.
How long does the WhatsApp and SMS integration take?
WhatsApp API connection typically takes 2–3 business days. DLT registration for SMS can take 3–7 business days depending on your telecom operator's approval time.
What happens if a contact opts out of WhatsApp or SMS messages?
Opt-outs are captured automatically and the contact is marked in EazeLead so they will not receive future campaign messages. Opt-out records are permanently stored.
