This Policy applies to all users of our Service — including company owners, team members, and administrators who register for and use EazeLead to manage their leads and sales pipeline.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Who We Are
EazeLead is a B2B SaaS CRM platform that helps growing teams capture, qualify, and convert leads. Our platform includes lead management, sales pipeline tracking, automated follow-ups, WhatsApp & SMS campaigns, invoicing, and analytics.

EazeLead acts as a Data Fiduciary / Controller with respect to the personal data of registered users (you). EazeLead acts as a Data Processorwith respect to lead and contact data that you, as our customer, store within the CRM. You remain the controller of your customers' and leads' data.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account Registration Data
When you create an account, we collect:
- Full name (owner / primary contact)
- Work email address
- Phone number (with country code)
- Company name
- Company description
- Business category
3.2 CRM Usage Data (Your Leads & Contacts)
When you use our CRM to manage leads, you may upload or capture data about third parties (your leads and customers). This may include their names, phone numbers, email addresses, conversation history, deal values, and notes. You are the controller of this data; we process it only on your instructions.
3.3 Technical & Usage Data
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited, features used, and session duration
- API access logs and error logs
3.4 Payment & Billing Data
Billing information (card details, UPI, bank details) is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We store only your billing address and transaction records (plan, amount, date) for invoicing and tax compliance.
3.5 Communications
If you contact us for support or send us emails, we retain those communications to resolve your query and improve our service.
4. How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery: To create and manage your account, provide CRM functionality, and deliver the features you signed up for.
Communication: To send account-related emails (password resets, invoices, security alerts). Transactional emails are sent regardless of marketing preferences.
Customer Support: To respond to your support queries, troubleshoot issues, and improve our service quality.
Analytics & Improvement: To understand how users interact with our platform, identify bugs, improve features, and develop new ones. We use aggregated or anonymized data where possible.
Marketing: With your consent, to send newsletters, product updates, and promotional offers. You can opt out at any time.
Legal & Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests from authorities, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Fraud Prevention & Security: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and security threats.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Service Providers (Sub-processors)
We share data with trusted vendors who help operate our platform — including cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, SMS/WhatsApp gateways, and analytics. Legal Requirements
We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or governmental authority — for example, in response to a lawful subpoena or to protect the rights and safety of others.
Business Transfers
If EazeLead undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2+.
- Encryption at rest: Stored data is encrypted using AES-256 or equivalent.
- Access controls: Role-based access controls limit who within EazeLead can access your data.
- Regular audits: We conduct periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Incident response: We maintain a documented breach response procedure with defined notification timelines.
Important: No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal obligations).

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (CSV/JSON).
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw consent for marketing or non-essential processing at any time.
Right to Object
Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@eazelead.com. We will respond within 30 days. Complex requests may take up to 90 days — we will inform you if this applies.
11. International Data Transfers
EazeLead primarily serves users in India. Your data is stored on servers located in India. If you access our service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India.
Where we transfer personal data outside India or the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or equivalent mechanisms under applicable law.
12. WhatsApp & SMS Communications
EazeLead provides tools for WhatsApp and SMS campaigns. The following rules apply to the use of these features:
- Separate consent required: Consent for WhatsApp and SMS campaigns is collected and stored separately from other marketing consents. Tick-boxes are never pre-checked.
- Opt-in only: We only send WhatsApp/SMS messages to contacts who have explicitly opted in. Consent records include date, time, and method of consent.
- Easy opt-out: Every message includes an unsubscribe option. Opt-out requests are honoured within 24 hours and permanently recorded.
- Customer responsibility: Our customers (you) are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to contact each lead via WhatsApp or SMS. EazeLead provides the technical tools (consent logs, opt-out tracking) to support your compliance.
- Data handled: We store phone numbers, consent status, opt-out history, and campaign delivery records. This data is subject to the same retention and deletion rules as all other lead data.
13. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data about a minor, please contact us immediately at support@eazelead.com and we will delete it promptly.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
- Sending an email notification to registered users (for significant changes)
- Displaying an in-app banner where appropriate
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
